LocalDutch is partnering with Harrisburg University, Chris Dawson Architect and Site Design Concepts to develop an Urban Farm Shop in York, PA.

The site is on North Beaver Street on properties owned by St John's episcopal church & Kinsley properties in the downtown business district.
The center includes 14,500 sf of controlled environment agriculture grow space, a 2,100 sf retail shop, 2,800 sf of support "Barn" space, and 3 to 5,000 sf of research & demo space.
The grow space will employ a "Lazy river" to move product. The project is knitted into the city fabric by creating a public square & preserving a historic building. The project will more directly connect consumers with growers.
